Dell computers

Hi,
I have a windows network. I’m in the process of purchasing a dell computer. It has to be dell for reasons. Anyway, they are telling me that there line of dimension is not built for a network(even though it comes w/a network card). They said it can cause damage to the network. And to buy their line of optiplex computers which is geared for a network. Is there any truth to this?Thanks in advance
