Dell Laptop Compatiblity with HP Procurve

For some reason beyond my reckoning, we can’t seem to get any Dell Laptop to connect to our wireless network. We’re using an HP Procurve Router, and it works just fine with all the HP laptops in the system, but Dells will not connect. I’m wondering if it’s just Brand differences and if there’s any way around it.
