dell laptop screen problem

I have DELL Vostro1500 laptop (17″ screen).
I have problem with screen, it shows blan on right side 2″ top to bottm area. this area has to do and i can’t move the cursor in this area.also at the bottom about 1/2 ” screen (below the starta button)have the same problem. but this area as some color when i move my mouse over this area, there is one vertical line appears.

also i ahve another problem, some times total screen is full of white lines that we can see anything just like white cloud after some time it disappears otherwise i have to shutdown the laptop or bend the monitor.
This laptop was bought just 6 months back from show room.

can some one suggest me the solution.
