Dell Power connect 5224 switch (more configuration theory needed)

Hello!
Does anyone know where to find articles on how to optimize the DELL 5224 power connect switches. The documentation that comes with the switches basically tells what each item does in the configuration. It does not say much on how to optimize these settings.I realize that some configuration theory can be used from others i.e.cisco.
