dell poweredge 6300 startup problem

Problem starting Windows NT server, machine runs bios, then i get an error, “plug and play config error, strike F1 to continue, F2 for setup” F2 nothing wrong with cmos, F1 runs to screen with mode selection “win NT or win NT VGA mode” wich ever onei choose tha systems stops after pressing enter and screen is blank…please help
