Dell Upgrade Policy

Having a Dell E1505 which has 1 gig of RAM, I
decided to upgrade it to 2 gig (Maximum) so
rang Dell to inquire about the price. Without
missing a beat, I was quoted $246.95 per 1 Gig
Stick for a total of $493.90 plus compulsory
$50.00 postage. I ended up buying Kingston RAM
locally for $34.95 per stick and no postage.
Big difference $69.90 compared to $543.90.
