Deny access to network drive or folders in SBS using GPO

I have recently started with a new company to resolve a few IT issues they are having. First request is to deny access to myself & other contractors from sensitive data held on their server. I need to have admin access to be able to configure and install software. Does anyone know how through GPO I can achieve this. Thanks
