Deployment of IE 5.5 to 600 + clients

Howdy!
I want to deploy IE 5.5 to 600 work stations with multiple operating systems (WinNT,Win95,Win98).I would be using Novell Application Launcher 2.01. Is there a way to deploy to the users desktop as an icon so that they can launch the update to IE 5.5 from IE 4.0. I can not use IEAK because we do not have policies set up. Any thoughts?
