desktop disappears in xp

background info: have several gateway 400(SP) laptops w/xp professional…all have same specs…desktop background set to autumn, stretch,color blue.
problem info:on 1 laptop, desktop background disappears after it goes to screensaver mode and returns to desktop(background goes to blue)…i don’t have a clue as to what to check or look for since the desktop settings are correct and this doesn’t happen on any of the other laptops…thanks…
