Hello,
Here is the situation. I edit and make changes to my cisco router config on a linux box (debian). I then yank the config file down from the linux box with the router. Well, I want to get rid of the linux box. So I will start making changes to the config file on a NT box, and yanking it down from there. Well, I tried it and it didn’t work. The linux box and the router are on the same subnet, but the router and NT box are on different subnets. Can you TFTP across subnets? The NT box is on a private internal address, and the router is obviously on an outside address. How can I get the router to pull the config from the NT box? Right now the router is ip- 216.141.161.225 subnet- 255.255.255.240 and the NT box is on a private ip- 198.68.43.106 subnet- 255.255.255.0.
Thank you for any help.
