Hi All,
I may sound like very primitive or asking for a complete support, however I have no choice. I have a D-Link DI524 wireless router which I am trying to set at my home with my TATA Indicom DSL internet. I have tried multiple things for connecting my wireless but this simply does not work. I have tried below ways to access my wireless:
1. Set up the WAN side IP in the D-link router to 192.168.1.5, the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 and the gateway to 192.168.1.1, then set my DNS servers to 202.54.9.1 and 202.54.1.30.Nothing.
2. Accessed wireless D-Link IP 192.168.0.1 entered Internet uid/ password for PPPoE but nothing. I had to however access the D-Link router with a wire from router to the machine. I just connected to wireless network but the network does not get any connection from the Internet.
Can someone please put in some comments like what else need to be done to achieve this impossible task of setting up the wireless with my TATA Indicom connection. Taking to the support guys at TATA Indicom is a complete waste of time as they not technically sound to install a wireless router (neither am I).
Any and all inputs are welcome.
Thanks in advance for all your time.
Regards,
Utkarsh Gadewar.
