Detection and Installation of Intel 8256MM Gigabit in VMware server – 1.0.3

Dear All,

I have a Lenovo T61 laptop with Intel 8256MM Gigabit Lan Card built in. I went to install VMware on this and after a complete installation of same and later on a new Windows XP on VMware. I found problem detecting the Intel 8256MM NIC.

On the Host OS I can see VM Adapter with a 192.x.x.x IP but when I go to Guest OS on VMware which is also XP, I cannot see any Lan Card under Network Connections.

Please Help me to trouble shoot this scenerio.
