DFS

I have a DFS share on a W2K server in a NT4 domain. From XP SP2 worksation when i access DFS share \\Server\DFS\Share there is an approx 5 second delay before opening. If i however access the DFS share by \\192.168.1.1\DFS\share it opens instantanious. If i open the share as a normal share \\Server\share it also opens instantanious. This happens on all workstations.
