I created a DFS Root.
\\mydomainName\DfsShareName I also have this replicating between 2 servers. I have user’s folders listed in path.
So in ADCU and the user profile Home Folder I put \\domainName\DfshareName\%username% connect as H drive.
AD creates the folder and security.
When the user logs in there is no H drive. This occurs to be a problem on DFS shares.
I am running Windows 2003 RC2/SP2 and all updates on Both servers. If i target a non DFS share this works. This is occuring on Vista and XP machines that are mapped to a DFS root.
Any thoughts…
