DFS replica

I have a 2000 domain controller. I configured a DFS root on this domain controller.

When I go into the DFS console and create a DFS replica on a client server, which is a memeber of the domain, I get an error message saying “can not create a file when that file already exits”

There is no file that already exists. There is an option to create a new share, and that’s when I get that error message. Help
