DHCP Registry settings in Windows 95/98

I have a laptop that goes between offices and different types of DHCP servers. Is there a key entry that needs to be adjusted or added to force a release of all IP addresses at shutdown? Right now it is retaining the IP address handed out by a non NT machine until you force a release and renew using winipcfg.
