I have server 2003 sp2 ent installed and i have a connection problem or configuration.
I have installed my modem speedtouch 330 configured my username and password from the ISP and it all works fine now the problem arise when i configured my network card. I have a static IP address from my ISP
i set all the static IP and DNS setting on my NIC and no problems but when i restart my pc the modem does not recognize my username and password and i have no internet access.
i then realized i had to diable my NIC and start the internet dailer and it works fine and i then re-enable my NIC and the both seem to work fine. i have a static IP address from my ISP and i have statically configured this on my NIC these setting also are on my modem not static.
i run server 2003 sp2 ent and i want to enable dhcp, dns, etc so how can i have both the nic and ISP working without having to disable one and reenabling it after the other.
the problem is only with the recognization of my username and password with my internet dial when the network card is is on. ISP bulldog communication, modem standard speedtouch 330 and NIC realtek
