Dialer password prob inWin2k

When I set up win2k for Internet access I entered the password and clicked save password. However, when I connect to the net it appears that the password has been entered twice. I have deleted the password, and used not save password, but if I clicksave password I get the double entry again. This is a stand alone computer and I am the only one using it.
