Dimwitted Thieves down Internet

it appears that the recent slowdown in the internet caused by a break in Cogent backbone fiber optic cables was started by dim-witted thieves looking for copper cable.

While first reported that the cable was ‘shot’, it turns out the replacement dark cable had been shot but they had sawed off 2/3 mile of the original cable!

I heard Cleveland had been hit pretty bad by housing slump, probably indicates bad shape the area is in, causing this. Others may blame illegal immigrants.
