Disabling keys on keyboard

I always have the problem of hitting insert at the same time I hit delete. Of course this causes the overwrite function to start on most programs, and I end up typing over a whole line before I realize overwrite is on.

How can I disable or toggle the INSERT key (or any keys for that matter) on the keyboard?
