Display problems in Windows Media Center

I am having problems with my windows media center. When i turn it on, it makes the sounds saying its on, but nothing displays on the monitor. My computer is working fine other than that, so i know that’s not the problem. And i know windows media center is working cause if i use the remote the tv stations do turn on but nothing displays on my monitor. Please help!!
