displaying names of files that are attached to a SharePoint 2010 list item.

I want to display the names of the files that are attached to a particular 2010 SharePoint list item. I want to show the names as a hyperlink. When a user clicks the link, the file should be opened. This has to be done only by using javascript or jquery.
