DM in Erwin. identifying vs ‘non’ rel.

I’m using Erwin to develop a data model for a project. I was wondering what is the difference between identifying and non-identifying relationship?

Is the term ‘identifying relationship’ known by a different term (outside of ErWim?)
Any general notes/comments of benefit?
