dne2000.sys ?

I recently observed(firewall logs) that all of my connections are routed using dne2000.sys. My research tells me that this is the file associated with VPN installation which I made recently – Sonicwall VPN Client. Even after disabling VPN connection to the server, still all of my communications are through dne2000.sys

Can somebody explain this. and is there any way to disble this behaviour ?
