DNS DHCP Problem in Win 2k3

by wortos . Updated 22 years, 8 months ago

Hi,

I was configuring my dhcp server when I made a mistake. I told it to have a scope of xxx.xxx.0.10 to xxx.xxx.0.16 because we have only 5 workstations and the server. The problem is that the server’s ip is xxx.xxx.0.1 so the server went out of the network. I reconfigured the ip scope to xxx.xxx.0.1 to xxx.xxx.0.16 (Hey! It was a good idea after all!). But still the server cannot comunicate with the workstations and they don’t appear in the Network Places.

I check the dhcp server and it is leasing the ip addresses to the workstations. I know that since my shop is so small I can reinstall AD all over but IS THERE ANOTHER TO DO IT?

Thanks for your time.
