DNS Forwarders

Im running an active directory domain w/ a single Domain controller running DNS (obviously) I set my ISPs DNS servers in the forwarders and then point my hosts to the DC as the sole DNS. Then when i try to browse the web its unable to resolve the addresses? Currently I have my DHCP set to hand out the ISPs DNS servers, so I know they are valid, working servers. Am I missing a step or is this indicative of a DNS misconfiguration?
