I own a registered domain called adminsoncall.com… I had is hosted by a we b host for a while but i figured I would put it on a dedicated server box that I lease . I changed the ns names at my registrar to ns1.adminsoncall and ns2.adminsoncall . I set up the web service and added the host header name of adminsoncall.com and www.adminsoncall.com
I created a forward lookupzone called adminsoncall.com and a reverse lookup zone.
Here is the wierdest thing I have going so far
if I do an nslookup 207.106.122.42 it comes out adminsoncall.com
if i do ns lookup adminsoncall.com , I get nothing
If I go to www.adminsoncall.com I get nothing
If I go to ns1.adminsoncall.com I get a index.html that I put in the sites dir
i get the same thing if I go to ns2.adminsoncall.com
I am suspecting I am close but how close I am is unknown at this time.
Any ideas
