DNS problem?

I can resolve any Internet address names like www.mapquest.com, but I cannot ping some of them.

I can ping www.google.com, changing my MTU settings enabled me to ping www.yahoo.com. But there still are a lot of addresses I cannot ping. Is this a firewall problem? In any case, can someone help me?
