DNS Server

Hi, I wanted to know whether is there any chance to earn on an DNS server? I mean if a corporate sets up an DNS server then whats the profit for that organisation? Apart from the their own network is there any profit for other organisations or internet users??
Can that corporate sell the DNS service to anyone? Is there any external profit?

Regards.
