DNSAPI warnings and errors in the event log

It would appear that my Windows Server 2003 servers are not registering dns. I tried a ipconfig /register dns, per a kb article. This did not work.

I am wondering if the fact that my domain controllers are Server 2000 machines have something to do with the 2003 member servers not registering DNS.

Does anyone have any information on this?
