Hey guys,
I’m new to imaging. So new in fact that I
haven’t been using Sysprep and it appears that
maybe I should start since I’ve ended up with a
different image for each model Dell we use.
I’ve also been running a batch file that
assigns the PC a new SID. It hasn’t been a pain
but I think it’s probably an incorrect method.
I was wondering how everyone sets up the
profile to be used as the default profile. Do
you do it on your domain user account or on the
local administrator account? I’ve been using
domain account, logging into administrator, and
then copying it as default user.
I ask because I’ve run into a bit of an issue
where a user will enter their username and
password and then get hit with a 5 minute wait
time where the logon screen greys out. I’m
thinking maybe it’s a weird DNS or SID related
issue.
