Documentation

I need help. I am looking for a source of information. I am the new systems engineer at a dot.com and the guy I replace kept horrible documentation. Well, my boss request that I document the whole network. He wants me to write a Network Architectural Overview of our internal and production environment. I have the content but I have no format to follow. Can you help? I have search the web up and down…help!
