does anyone know how to make ms works use windows clipboard?

I’m just asking if there is a way to make microsoft word use the windows clip board in stead of the size restricted ms works clip board. Or perhaps how to increase the size of the ms works clip board. Because only being able to paste about ten characters really sucks.
