Domain Admin Account – switching from Roaming to Local

OK? i have a bloated domain admin account which is gnawing away at my precious system drives.

why this was setup is beyond me and i challenge anyone to give me a (Valid) reason to use a roaming domain account in an environment with over 35 servers. makes no sense to me.

Either way i have to clean up this mess and am just wondering what implications anyone can foresee?

Should I change from roaming to local and then rename all the profiles to give it a fresh start or should we keep what we have and clean each server individually to be safe?

In theory it seems rather straight forward, but I just think that I am overlooking something?

Has anyone had past experience of this and come across any problems?
