I had two domain controllers until one crashed the other day. The remaining domain controller is there ,however, I think my DNS is messed up on it as if I try to add computers to the domain, nothing can find the the domain. I do a nslookup on the domain (e.g.company.com) and it comes back with no ip address. With the old one it used to come back with the ip addresses. I’m also concerned that people won’t be able to log onto the domain. This domain controller computer also controls a backup system and I really don’t want to start from scratch with reinstalling the OS for 200 users and the backup system. I’ve tried dcdiag /fix and netdiag /fix and neither fix the problem. PLEASE HELP as I am at a lost of now knowing what to do.
