Domain logon hangs in XP sp3

I have to pc’s in a Win 2003 domain. A domain login will hang at “Loading your personal settings” for hours.

DNS settings on pc is correct.

Event Viewer > System reports Event ID: 40961, Source: LSASRV “The Security System could not establish a secured connection with the server DNS/prisoner.iana.org. No authentication protocol was available.”

One of the effected PC’s is a fresh reformat/reinstall of Win XP with all updates/SP’s loaded.

40+ other computers at this location do not have this problm.

Any leads appreciated.
