Domain registration etc

Currently we have our web site served by an ISP. They are also the registrar’s of our domain name (including name server entries). We are wanting to move our web server internally, but I am concerned that when we do that they may revoke our entries on their DNS servers. Can they do that? Other than the Web server security, are there any other things I should watch out for??
