Downloads start normally, but stop partial way through and never complete.

Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone had heard or knows of a similar situation with a fix for me.

I have a laptop here that cannot download.

I start a download(doesnt matter what the file type or content type is) and it will go through the normal procedure and it will actually start the download. A certain percentage through the download it will just stop and stay there until i cancel it.

Im not sure if it is only downloading a certain size amount of the files, but it appears not to be a percentage(some stop at 8% and other random percentages).

The internet plan it is on is unlimited downloads without any caps.

I am running XPsp2 with IE6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
