DragAndDrop moves folders (Make it stop)

Microsoft has brilliantly made the default option for dragging a folder onto another folder “Move Here” so I am constantly having to go looking for folders that some fat fingered user has accidentaly dragged onto onther folder. And since there is not dialog box or confirmation that it has been moved, they never realize it at the time and it only comes up when someone it hunting for the missing folder. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the default option for dragging and dropping folders? I would rather they have to cut and paste, or right-click-drag to move things. That way it would HAVE to be intentional.
