Need to connect 2 offices for a charity. Need to do this cheaply. I am leaning toward dsl. I have two w2K servers(using active directory). Users will be sharing a database Probably access, word files, they need email, and need internet access. Offices are about 3 miles apart. The servers will not be in the wiring closet. They will be in a separate rooms at each location. I don’t know anything about dsl setup. Please list steps on what I need to get this setup. Where should the dsl line be install (where the servers are located or in the wiring closet). Someone told me that I can split our fax line for this. Do I need dsl at both ends. Should I have a server at both locations? Would like to hear from others who have used dsl to connect two offices and how they are setup.
