DSL WIRELESS ROUTER INTERNET/PRINTER

i have a roland printer/plotter which connect via ethernet, i connect it to a 2 wire wireless dsl and modem and router in one.
problem i’m using xp and when i configure my lan settings for the printer ip(192.168.0.111) my print server detects my printer but then bumps me off the internet. how do i fix this?
the ip for my router is 192.168.1.254
