DSL,router and Internet sharing

I currently have 2 PCs (WinMe & Win98SE)networked and sharing the internet using Microsoft ICS (Dial-up modem 56k).If I get DSL and a SMC Barricade router, can I still share the internet between the 2 PCs? Do I still need to use ICS? Also do I need to buy a 3rd nic card (2 nic cards in the server machine and 1 in the client)?
