Dual Monitor

Hello, my name is Shawn. Here is my system:
AMD Quad-Core 2.6ghz black edition CPU
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H AM2+
Gigabyte GV-N94TOC-1GH Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 1024m 128-bit Gddr2 PCI-Express 2.0 x16
4g ddr2800
Vista Ultimate 64-Bit

here is the question:
the video card can handle dual DVI-D. i have 2 monitors. one is 19″ widescreen with the DVI-D, the other is 17″ VGA-DVI-D. the 17″ is my secondary monitor. When i start the computer in the mornings it takes about 20min to 2 hrs for the monitor to wake up. i have used the monitor as a primeary monitor for 2 yrs until u build this system and started using it as my second monitor.

i have the updated drivers.
