Dual Printer Ports simultaneous printing

I need to know if a computer has two printer ports installed and two printers diretly attached to the PC and a program prints to both at the same time will there be a problem? Our EDI program does this, it prints to a barcode printer and a laserjet for barcoded labels and the invoices.
