Dual Processor File Server

My customer want to be able to use File Server as workstation as well. Other tech suggested that I use dual processors motherboard on the File Server, so that it can handles as File Server and Workstation at the same time.

I have been taught thatit is not recommend to run Windows 2000 Server as workstation.

What is your opinion about this type of setup?
