DUN and Windows NT

After installing my 56K USR Modem I tried to set up dial up networking on Windows NT. I got a multiple insert Windows NT CD messages then RAS (and other) files missing messages and was unable to use the modem or get online. How do you set up WindowsNT to use a modem?
