I have an error message on my Server. A duplicate name has been detected on the TCP network. The IP address of the machine that sent the message is in the data. Use nbtstat -n in a command window to see which name is in the conflict state.
when I do that I get the following
Local Area Connection:

NetBIOS Local Name Table

Minimouse <00> GROUP Registered
etc, etc etc.

Mikeymouse <00> UNIQUE Conflict
Minimouse <00> GROUP Registered
etc, etc etc.
I dont get how on the 2 nic’s it has different IP’s and its a conflict?
any ideas please.
