E_FAIL Status error

The users are getting an “Data provider or other service returned an E_FAIL status” error once they want to save a record.

Its a Visual Basic 6.0 frontend and MS Access 2003 backend. The database is on a novell server.

Its a system that i’m currently maintaing as a contractor developed it and has left.

The system was working fine with no hiccups until this error came up.

Any suggestions as to what causes this error or anything to fix the problem?
