E-mail Formatting-Presentation & Layout Explained!

What is Rich Text: Plain Text & HTML formatting?

In relation to the above concerns, here is my view on this issue.

I have found that sending e-mail via HTML format, is confusing, un-professional looking, and not pleasant to read.

Plain Tex format is slightly better, except that the lines are very often broken. And keeping your paragraphs as you wrote them, is very difficult when it gets to the receiving end.

The Rich Text format I find, is closer to perfection.

* This format maintains your paragraphs, sentences, and layout, most of the time, just the way you wrote them.

And if you ‘Copy & Paste’ your document in Rich Text Format, chances are, it will maintain that same format when it reaches the recipient.

Finally, it is always best to respond to an e-mail, by making your comments at the foot of the message your are responding to. It makes for good sense, coherent flow, and keep the thought flowing sensibly!

Derryck.
