Email domain redirection

Hi all,

For this example I will use domain_1.com and domain_2.com.

We already have @domain_1.com set up on our Exchange 2000 server, but would like users to be able to send mail to @domain_2.com and end up in the same users mailbox. Our SMTP addresses for nearly 150 employees all use *@domain_1.com but no additional addresses have been implicitly entered for say, domain_2.com.

My question is, would I be able to tell EXCHANGE that anything going to domain_2.com to automatically reference it’s user at domain_1.com?

I’d really like to refrain from having to set up 150 additional email addresses for the second domain, it would be nice to streamline the internal network to understand it. Thanks all!
